Whatever you buy make sure it fits your hand comfortablly(auto/revolver).
If you are smart buy two hand guns:
1 A reliable 22 cal pistol/revolver. The Ruger auto is your best bang for the
buck bar none.
2. Get a .357 in a revolver if you must go the wheelgun route...

Perhaps the shotgun has a compensator on it? Although I can't see why anyone would spend the money for a that on a truncated shotgun. What make is it, Purdley perhaps???
I haven't seen a .45 Taurus 24/7 yet. I've carried a RemRand surplus 1911A and would like to get some feedback from anyone that has had any experiece with the Taurus .45. Does it feed reliably?

I bet it costs a bunch to make titanium cannister shot; a mistake perhaps and it is actually tungston (can't use the dreaded lead ya know). Anyone know what caliber the shot is??

Sport45 has it right. A 20ga. pump. My house hose is a plugless 870 express youth model, improoved cylinder, loaded with 2 3/4" #4, with 4 more and 4 #3 buck ready on the stock.

The .22 is the best choice only if solid lead rounds are used; they are definetly a kill pill. While not a stopper, a 22 solid is an acrobatic round and that is what makes it effective. I have an old Ruger T512A that is used weekly and I would hang everything on it in a pinch. Solids only!
