I haven't seen a .45 Taurus 24/7 yet. I've carried a RemRand surplus 1911A and would like to get some feedback from anyone that has had any experiece with the Taurus .45. Does it feed reliably?
I have a taurus mil pro pt145 that I bought about 3 weeks ago.So far I've put 350 rounds through it without a single problem of any kind.I've shot winchester 230 gr.hardball, lawman 230 gr,hardball, winchester 230 gr SST's,federal 230 gr hydra shocks.I love this gun. sj
I've fired about 250 rds thru mine. All Wolf 230fmj except for the first 4 rds which were the CCI 200gr *flying ashtray* .i was trying to make it jam,it didn't.
The long trigger took some getting used to.I would buy the 24/7 Pro which has a much shorter/crisper trigger.Nice gun.Small for the caliber and ammo capacity.
Had one for about 2 months. Functioned just fine and accuracy was good. Decided I didn't need a DAO .45 so I sold it.
Now, if I had to choose a DAO .45 I think I would go with the XD over the 24/7. Haven't shot the 24/7 Pro version yet though so that might be a different story. Seems most folks here like the PT145 Pro better than the 24/7.
BTW, use the search function on the 24/7 cause I've done a range report and others have as well.
