I'm wondering how the recoil varies in different grains of .40 ammo. For instance will 180 grain Speer Gold Dots kick more or less then 165 grain? I'm looking for something effective but with as little recoil as possible in .40. I'm an old 9mm man moving up. Gun to be used is a G23 by the way.

Does anyone here have a XD .40 that they've shot numerous times with no ejector breakage problem? Not XD 9's as this problem doesn't seem to be effecting them near as badly. The magazine's all seem to be testing only the XD9 (other then the XD 357 one reviewed and did have the ejector break) so...

I've read much lately about Springfield Armory's Xd's and there tendency to have all sorts of problems such as extraction problem's, ejector's breaking and rust problem's with the finish. Have any of you XD owner's had these problem's as well?
