Yea I'm not going to buy that stuff at 3 a pound, but his WW is .75 pound.

I have some super hard, but the amount I need that's high. WW would be cheaper plus they're close to the house.

I have try to find free WW, I have 1500lbs of pure lead, so I got to find some to mix with it.

The guy at the local scrap yard, said he had a 30 gal barrel of small pieces of lead mixed with tin and a small amount of tungsten. Can this be cast in to bullets or used to harden pure lead. He said it came from a bullet making place, and wants $3.00 a pound does this sound right?

I use the Lee factory crimp die, all my brass is just under 1.760, i see no need to trim it this time.

I'm just shooting, no real need for even length cases. I'll just trim all the case over 1.760 to 1.750, and load the rest. Thanks!

If max case length for 223 is 1.760, and trim length is 1.750, do you have to trim the cases if they are 1.760 or less? I would think you don't have to trim to 1.750. Been reloading pistol for about 15 years but rifle is new to me. I never had to trim pistol.

Do you just lube the cases for the resizing dia? Once you have resized the brass can you clean it before going to the next step?

When you cut down brass to make 300 blackout, do you have to anneal the brass?

I think that I did set it on top of the shell holder. It was the only one in the batch of 600 to 700 rounds. If the die had slipped down more would have turnout like it, and none of the rounds needed to be cut to length. So thanks for the help.
