I found an iron ball in a field south of San Antonio. I don't know if it's a cannonball or not but I saved it anyway.
It's about 2 1/2" in diameter and weighs about 2 1/3 lbs. There's no seams on it just some pitting.
What say the experts?
Cartridge firearms made before Dec. 31 1898 are not regulated by the federal government (Other that NFA class III weapons). Some socialist leaning cities and states have their own regulations. You have to be familiar with the laws in your own area.
I carried one while coon hunting for quite a few years. Shot quite a few coons and a few bobcats that the dogs treed. Even shot a few javelinas in self defense.

LOL, I don't know about cactus but we do have plenty of it around here.
Been thinking about making a small batch of china berry charcoal. Birds plant that stuff all along the fencelines. Hackberry is supposed to work good, too. Coons and birds plant that everywhere.
I never tried weeping willow although it will probably work just fine. There's lots of different varieties of willow. Black willow is what we have around here growing wild.
