I use H335/CFE223 and WC844 and love em all
Also a Dogtown HP or varmageddon HP are very very accurate.. way more, for me, than any FMJ
Good Luck, be safe, and have fun
To me it looks like some HP38 mixed with H335
Tightgroup looks different., I looked myself... Not Varget... Thats a Long TUBE looking powder
I suggest the OP take his own pics of his Powders
Hopper
Pulled Bullet Load
Tightgroup
HP38
It sure looks like 2 mixed powders for sure...
Ahh ha
Thats where I know that Name
LOL
Learn how to reload..... is the best advice.... Stupid people do stupid things... Un educated can do the same. and the Dillion is not a "Pipe Bomb"...
Be safe.. read the Manual 4x.. read loading manuals 5x... rinse and repeat.. and always accept...
Same here alex..
Im not trying to do 500rds/hr but a nice smooth system till I need to refill primer tubes (I have 6 so really pull one, drop in the next) Ill usualy do 200-400rds or so
I also dont crimp any .223
I have a 650 just for loading .223... works fantastic
I use H335 mainly and measures great. I also use a Bullet Feeder and Case feeders.. as well as the low powder alarm.
Never an issue yet... and can bust out many many rounds an Hour
Now I do use my old Pro 1000 to prep the cases. That works...
I have 3 Lee Pro 1000's... learned on one started with .223
Never an issue.. well.. besides the lee Bullet feeder for the Pro 1000... that was an event...LOL. so that sits idle.. but was only $25 so no big loss
I use all 3... and also my dillon 650
1 for 9mm
1 for 357/38s... I swap the turrets...
for me I Like the 55gr Vmax/Zmax and Dogtown and Varment HP's... the HP's are my Goto Round
FMJBT's just arnt accurate for me... good close range plinkers. got 6000 a few years back and still have around 3k of em
One of the funnest things to do is FIND that sweet spot...
Find a nice starting spot with powder and an ACCURATE bullet
Ladder some charges... I do 10-15 of each.. shoot 5... and do it 2-3x in a range day
Chrono/Log them all
Find the best Options... Ladder some more... Rinse and Repeat...
I have used a lot of CFE223
26gr for all my 55gr pullets
Great results.. I currently have around 30lbs of it.... that and H335 are my go to .223 powders
So Id say BUY BUY BUY
Agree with everyone
Yes... it can save some Money.. assuming yer time is free..
But its more of a Hobby for me.. and the Accuracy of my rounds are far better than factory rounds... and I like that
I got a 650 about 6mo ago... It Rocks
I got it mainly for .223 mass production.... I included the Case Feeder and the Hornady Bullet Feeder.... it is an awesome setup Indeed
I use my Lee Pro 1000 for Case Prep... so the 650 is just for loading...
I have not had 1 issue yet with my...
I have loaded a LOT of the CFE223... I have around 20lbs of it now
all 55gr... is all i load.
Dogtown HP
FMJBT
Z-max and V-max
All at 26gr is where I found my sweet spot. at 27gr they where to irratic so stuck to 26gr
I have NEVER had any good luck with the FMJBT... so I use them for...
Not sure where ya getting .31$ bullets at.... Maybe yer math was a bit off
If ya gotta ask... then NOPE... Not worth it
Save the Components for us
:neener::what::D:D:D
Ill go ahead and Chime In:p
I have 3 Lee pro 100 systems..
1st one was for .223 Only.... then I got another for 9mm Only... and then another for 38s/357
Each has been flawless.... No tinkering needed.... I loaded More .223 than anything and ended up getting a Dillon 650 with case and...
