No its 444marlin brass and no primer cup is on the press.I have the press in single stage since I want to use a hand primmer Im just starting to reload for the first time. I for got to mention that I did oil and wipe down the press.....I live in humid Florida.
I have a LCT (Lee Classic Turret)Press. That is annoying me when I'm depriming /resizing brass.the spent primers shoot every where and not down the tube. Does anybody know why this is happening? Its kind of annoying
Ok thanks I used a hammer with some force:eek:
I guess its the die that shapes the brass and as long as the ram goes up and down everything is fine
Mine did not come out like in the video
New to reloading here. Well attempting to anyways about a month ago I got a case stuck in a 444 die. Sent in to Lee precision and replaced. Lesson learned never resize and deprime a case once wipe, wipe the lube off and run it through again.:cuss:
How tuff are the columns on the Lee Classic...
What was no surprise on my Model 60 that I bought for $150 out the door at Walmart with an 10% discount(and just happened to be there when they had some 22LR ammo) Remington-Marlin(Remlin) did away with the JM roll stamp, and used a now 9/64 alen -hex head take down screws and a buggered up...
I have a Ruger Mark III 22/45 after a few times it gets easier. Like any thing new it needs a break in period. Now its no problem to disassemble and reassemble
