Please tell me the book value of a Charter Arms Pathfinder .22 magnum revolver. It is an older model that has a blue finish, 6" barrel, and bulldog grips. I'd appreciate a price for excellent condition and also a price for mint condition. Thank you.
I live in Indiana. My son lives in Kentucky. If I give him a handgun without using a FFL holder, am I breaking state and/or federal law. I think I know the answer and you might to, but I hope to hear from those of you who know for sure. Thanks.
If you have a '92 or '95 or '99 VihtaVuori reloading manual, then please send email or private message me max. N330 powder charge for 115 gr. JHP. Thanks.
Is there a .40 S&W or .45 ACP pistol that has less muzzle rise/flip than a 1911type .45 ACP pistol with a 5" barrel? (In .45 I shoot 230 gr. bullets. I don't own a .40, but I would should 170-180 gr. bullets if I did.)
I presently reload for my Springfield .45 using 230 gr. lead bullets. I've never reloaded 40 S&W. I did a search and found that lead bullets can be used for .40 S&W. I am going to buy a double action only pistol. I'm trying to decide if I should get .45 ACP or if I should try a 40 S&W...
Does anybody online have a sale going on now for Federal, Remington, or Winchester .38 Special +P 158 gr. lead hollow point. (The best I found is $26 plus shipping.)
My friend has a 2 3/4" barreled .357 magnum Ruger Speed Six. He is looking for a home defense load. He is not interested in a 110 gr. bullet, other than possibly the Corbon DPX. He is not interested in a 700 FPS, from a 4"barrel, 148 gr. wadcutter.
Please do not list loads such as the...
I wear glasses. Every once in awhile I think about buying a pair of binoculars. Anyhow, I'm going to a college football game pretty soon and would like to have some binocs with me. Today I looked thru a Bushnell Permafocus 8X25, and also a Bushnell Permafocus 7X35. One cannot adjust focus...
There are tube type red dots such as the Aimpoint, and tubeless type red dots such as the Eotech. I'm wondering if one type works better for one who wears eyeglasses. (Scope will be used with a scout scope mount.)
I'm thinking of using, on my Yugo SKS, a Bushnell Trophy 2-6x 32mm with a Scout Scopes, Inc. scout scope mount. I'd like to hear comments from you who use (or have used) one for a scout scope. Thanks

If I don't go with a scout scope mount, I'll have a gunsmith install a Choate scope mount on my Yugo 59/66 SKS. Do you know a good gunsmith who does work on the side (or who is very very reasonable) in Northwest Indiana? I live between Michigan City and Laporte. Thanks.
I bought a Yugo 59/66 SKS, without seeing it. I will receive it soon. It has a grenade launcher and a bayonet. I know it is a "D" series, but I don't know if it has night sights. If I replace the rear sight with a scout scope mount and scope, and do not remove the grenade launcher, bayonet...
I have a Yugo 59/66. I'm kicking around the idea of putting a magnifying scope on a scout scope mount. I don't want anything that interferes with empty case ejection. I don't want anything that interferes with the use of stripper clips. Which scout scope mount do you have that meets my...
I'm kicking around the idea of buying a Chinese Norinco SKS. Is this a good choice? I don't want a bayonet. Note: I'm not crazy about the grenade launcher on Yugo 59/66's. I would probably get one with the 20-21" barrel because I don't want to spend the extra money for a 16" barrel. I will...
I'm thinking of buying a very good condition Romanian SAR-1 that's been fired less than 500 times. I can see pictures of it, and that's it (since seller lives far from me). I don't know year of manufacture, but it was purchased in
2001. Rifle has straight sights & gas tube, and no trigger...
I'm going to buy an AK. I can't remember the last time I shouldered one. From what I can remember and what I see in pictures and what I hear, the regular stock on an AK is pretty short. Do any come with a longer than normal stock? I asked this on another gun forum and the only suggestions I...
Does anyone have one of these? I have two questions.
A member over at another gun forum told me they have a longer stock. 1. If so, then does it increase the length of pull enough so it fits most shooters better than the normal Ak stock (which is kind of short)? Looks like the model...
I have never fired a .30 caliber SKS. I have never fired a
.30 caliber AK. Some say recoil is subject so that's why I'll use the word "noticeably". I have 3 questions: 1. Is the SKS noticeably more pleasant to shoot than a milled receiver AK? 2. Is a milled receiver AK noticeably more...
