There's a Bushmaster AR-15 at my local FFL for 1499.99. I'm thinking it is kind of a rip-off(but with this craziness, I think I should just hop on it). Does Bushmaster have a good reputation? Or should I just wait for a Stag Arms AR to come around?

I've shot semi-automatic handguns most of my life... When I tried shooting my mother's Armscor Model 200 .38 Special revolver, my grouping(if you could call it that) was roughly 4-6 inches at 7 yards. Any suggestions for grip, stance, etc for helping tightening up the groups?
