Quest for the "ideal for you" carry gun

I find my Walther PPS M1 9mm easy to carry and easy to shoot well for a gun in this size range. I have tried to like my G19 and the CM9 but always end up back to the PPS.

    Tula Primers...What's your experience?

Bought 10K in December 2012 (brass colored) . Failure rate has averaged 5% in the first 8K. Never had a failed primer with CCI, Federal, or Winchester in the 35 years I've reloaded.

You folks make it hard for members to share there ideas and experiences. I don't believe the poster deserved this type of response to what he thought was a good process of gun maintenance . (The High Road?)

    Hand Priming Tools

RCBS bench primer I've used the RCBS bench priming tool for the last few years . I've also used the Lee's hand primer and RCBS's hand priming tool and for ease of use , speed, and feel the RCBS bench mounted primer is hard to beat.

    Misfires with Tula primers?

I have a recent batch (maybe 3 or 4 months old ) which I have had at least a dozen misfires on in the last 4000 rounds. All had good primer strikes. Most I tried a second time with no success.

    9MM cases have slight wrinkles

I've used Dillon dies and Lee dies to reload 9mm and always experienced a small amount of wrinkling or bullet imaging at the top half of the case. It has always shot fine , just don't enjoy the appearance of the finished product as well as a factory finished 9MM . Any dies out there that don't...

    Crossbreed Appendix Carry?

I'm currently using the Crossbreed AIWB holster with very good success. It appears large in the picture but is quite small for my Walthers PPS . Takes up a little more room on your belt than your traditional leather IWB holster. The clip ends up close to your belt buckle and the gun is at the...

I'll Agree with Pilot Post#7 . Walthers PPS, S&W Shield, and XDS all guns that you can shoot and are concealable.

    Windham ar-15

People are still nervous about plastic AR guns , just as they were of Glocks in the 80's but I suspect they are the future of the AR platform.

I own a CZ 452 and two Ruger 10/22. When going to the range with the 452 my target at 50 yards is an aspirin . When I take the 10/22 to the range I shoot at bottle caps at 50 yards.

    Who uses LEE?

I have been reloading for over 25 years and have used many brands( Lee, RCBS, Forster, Dillon, and Hornady). I believe Lee make many fine product and provide great value. I see very little, if any difference when I spend 2 or 3 times the price on the premium brands. Lee get bashed mostly because...

    poor customer service

I think that all the manufacturers we are talking about provide a fair warranty . They have to be responsible with freebies because at some point we all have to realize that freebies are lumped back into the cost of the product that we buy. We have to decide if we are buying a set of dies or if...

Depriming and sizing die quit working

Lee dies have a fail safe system, a broken decapping pin is only a problem if you don't have a replacement. Then it is a problem. RCBS makes some good products, as does Lee.;)
