I am thinking of getting an 1858 Remington. I am told the Uberti has slightly better quality than the Pietta. What I would like to know is how does the Cimarron compare with the Uberti? I am looking at Taylors for the Uberti and Texas Jacks for the Cimarron.

Which size cap do you use in your Ruger Old Army? The nipples are the original ones that came with the gun. I had some German caps (No. 1075 PLUS) that I don't know the size of and they are gone. The Ruger manual says #10 or 11. So which one???

A while ago I almost got a Remington in stainless for $200, but I missed it by a few days. Kind of bummed me out. Now you got me going. I guess I'll keep an eye out for one.
