Well, I suppose I should chime in here...
Gentleman, I must take at least partial responsibility for the OP's leap off the slippery slope of firearms ownership. I've been buddy's with the OP for almost 20 years.
:neener::evil:
I have to admit that he has certainly purchased a...
Well, I went ahead and ordered rings through Midway...
I went the TPS rings instead of the Burris XTR's this time. I ordered both Mediums and Highs, I figure I'll just return the ones that I don't use.
I went with the TPS because they are a little less 'beefy' than the XTR's, and I figure...
Well, one of my Smith's told me to go 'High', as there might be clearance issues with the Bolt mod and the scope. I have been hearing both sides of the ring issue. Rings puzzle me, so I might just go ahead and order Medium and High and just return the one that doesn't work...Scope is 50mm, so...
Yes. The AICS 2.0 folds. The folding feature on the 2.0 adds weight though, and the stock is heavy. I'm still not sure how I feel about it yet, I haven't shot it yet.
Advantages are that you don't have to bed it, and it adds the detachable magazine feature. Everything is very nicely put...
I haven't posted here in quite awhile, but here is what has been consuming my time the last year or so...

I ordered a Stock Wrench for my AR build from Midway. Got the stock from Gunbroker, just a standard M4 Collapsible...
The stock wrench doesn't fit correctly into the castle nut on the stock. Appears that the notches on the Castle Nut are too small for the wrench. Is this a common issue? I...
There should be a little lip on the wood that holds the rear of the handguard onto the rifle.
I had similar problems with my Aftermarket M1 Carbine. It sounds like the bolt isn't fully going into battery...if you give the charging handle a little nudge forward, it should function just...
A few months ago at the outdoor range I go to I saw a guy walk downrange on a hot line to replace his targets...I vowed to never go to this particular range again on the weekends, too many weekend warriors.
Around the same time, I was at a local shop looking at a PPK when I noticed a new...
Is it possible to get MOA or even Sub MOA performance out of a No.4 MkI with one of the available aftermarket scope mounts and a little trigger work?
Particular rifle in question is my 1943 BSA No.4MkI -- thinking about a Cad Technic Mount with a good quality scope.
Apparently you didn't click the Wikipedia link, because I posted this to point out an obvious bias concerning the Wikipedia article. <Insult removed by Art>
i am in the Los Angeles area.

too bad you aren't in SOCAL, Rettings in Culver City always has at least a half dozen in stock....last time i was there they even had an Albanian...
Mr. Cosby is a gentleman for sure. I am not sure what his beliefs are as far as firearms are concerned, but I agree with what he has said about other issues.
I do know, however, that James Earl Jones is a gun person.
