ABC’s "20/20" Seeking "Armed Citizen" Stories

If this has been already posted...well..it bears repeating... ABC’s "20/20" Seeking "Armed Citizen" Stories Friday, April 06, 2007 Gun ban groups often claim that private citizens rarely, if ever, use guns in self-defense. ABC News’ "20/20" is now putting that claim to the test...

    CCW: Change of address?

I just realized I never informed the sheriff's office of my change of address (I was supposed to have done it within 30 days, as is usual). I feel like a schmuck! :uhoh: Before I go laying my soul bare to my sheriff, anyone know what the usual process is for this? I read through all...

    Conceal-carry coats and jackets

These seem like a very viable conceal carry option. I've only seen these advertised but have never been able to try one on (they have not had any at the last couple of gun shows that I've been to). I'm not sure what other makers are available, but SiGARMS seems to make a nice one...

Shopping around for a new carry revolver

Hey Shawnee, I know what you mean...if I could wear my Uberti 1873 Cattleman 45 Colt in my buscadero rig, I wouldn't need anything else! :D I'm looking for something light for conceal carry...maybe in one of those nice SIG jackets with sewn-in holster.

Shopping around for a new carry revolver

I've been out of the scene (not reading the magazines and all) for a while. What's new in options for carry-revolvers? Any favorites you could share?

    Vaquero: two-handed grip?

I shoot CAS and have been a member of SASS for several years. What Tom C. said is correct. From this two handed grip you could practice "slip-Hammer'n" also! :)

Looking for "fanny pack" style carry system.

TexasSIGman, I really like that "Goblin"...where can I get one? This would be cool when hiking in unknown territories. BlueJays...I never though of just using a regular pack; I guess I was worried about my pistol sliding around. Coronado Leather makes some nice ones....any experience...

Looking for "fanny pack" style carry system.

Normally, I hate these things, but for all around use, I kind of am getting interested in one of these. I'm looking around for a vendor/maker that has fanny-packs that don't attract attention or look as "civlian" as possible. Most of the products I've seen are all "SWAT-black Tactical...
