Welcome to THRU (THR University) as I'm prone to call it. Great forum. I've learned WAY more than I came here to learn, much of it more useful in some ways than I learned in 16 years of university. (I came to learn about shotguns, and did. Now I know which one to buy, how to use it better, etc. Along the way, I've upgraded my semiauto pistol (Kahr K9), and am considering a second (.357 revolver) and now am looking at medium to large caliber rifles.
You'll find mostly friendly, helpful people in the gun forums. I recommend treading lightly for a while in the political realms. It can get a little fiesty in there at times.
The moderators are a great bunch of folks that help keep the peace. I'd recommend reading the FAQ if you haven't yet.
I'm curious. What kinds of guns bring you here? Pistols? Shotguns? Rifles? All of the above?
Oh, yeah, grew up in west TN (Meomphis), but have long since left...first to TX, then RI, then NM, then to the left coast.
