That's my take too, Ringolevio. All my mags are Ruger factory as well. I was just hoping the TAPCOs might at least be good enough for plinking, but I think ill pass. As far as TAPCO being well respected, I've heard some good things about some of their accessories.
Home/estate defense, varmint hunting to 150 yards or so, plinking, fun. Basically anything you can do with an AR15 you can do with a Mini 14, just not at quite as long a range. I love mine. It is uberreliable and more accurate than people seem to think.
