My cousin just purchased a new G23RTF2 (on clearance for $479) and is looking for a good crossdraw concealment holster for it (he is right handed). I don't know much about crossdraw holsters, so I figured I'd ask some experts here. Would appreciate suggestions that I can pass along, and being that the RTF2 grip texture can be abrasive to skin, it might be useful if the holster had a backing that could protect the wearer, if possible. Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this is the wrong forum for the question - I did not see a dedicated holster board.

Nothing short of a full coverage panel, a la the Crossbreed, is going to keep the grip off your body, and AFAIK it isn't a crossdraw. You need to wear something - at least an undershirt, preferably of a moisture-wicking material - between the grip and your skin. Those extended tabs you see, often called "sweat shields," are good for keeping thumb safeties, hammers and sharp serrations off you, but a Glock has none of those.

It is a sort of sub-subforum, if you will, of Handguns: General Discussion. My second favorite. :)
