    Winchester 231 Powder

I have a question. I don't have a Speer manual so I can't check. Do both manuals use the same OAL?

    Stupid question

On my Dillon 550 I have tube with a funnel on one end under the primer shoot and the other end attached to a plastic jug. When full I bring it to the recycler.

What kind of press(es) do you use?

My first and only press is the Dillon 550. It does what I need it to do loading for my pistols. I would say that it would be called a "simple progressive". No cartridge or bullet feeder.

Conflicting Data for W-231 and 9mm

I am always seeing posts that this manual and that manual show different min and max loads. What I don't see listed in these posts is the recommended OAL. OAL is going to make a difference when it comes to charge weight.

    Reloading Safety House Explosion

I can't believe that 6 pounds of smokeless powder would do that much damage. Something else is going on here. But with all that damage of the house the Blue Press survived.

    Another "Range Rules" thread.

I have been shooting in a range here in south Florida and you can shoot all day for $20.00. A range pass cost $150.00 for 10 range trips. Never realize what a bargain I"m getting. P.S. we can pick up our brass and someone else's.

    Getting squib rounds and baffled

Don't let the powder run too low. The powder measure drops powder by volume not by weight, To get consistent drops there needs to be a fairly consistent weight in the hopper to fill the cup in the powder bar. Running it too low will cause you to have inconsistent powder drops. Hope this is of...

    Getting squib rounds and baffled

I could be wrong but I wouldn't blame the primers. I would say you had little or no powder in those cases. Did you check to see if there was powder in your cases before you put a bullet on to seat them?

    Leading with powder coated bullets

Pull a bullet and see if you have scraped any of the coating off while seating the bullet. If so, you may to expand the case mouth a little more.

    45 Reload Sizing Problem

Seems to me that the mark is at the base of the bullet. Probably the bullet was not seated straight coursing the case to bulge at one side.

    Hornady Unique

I have been using it for about 4yrs now. I apply more when the sizing feels a little ruff. Usually between 5 & 10 cases. Even then I feel that I might be using too much.

    Reloading bench cover

I do not think that what you have is going to be sturdy enough. What would help with your limited funds is to try and find some wooden pallets. You could use the 2x4's to stengthen the under side of the 2 pieces you have by putting them on edge. You would probably want 2 of those board directly...
