Jake. Mine is a SAR-1 (AK47). They're easy to store, excepts high cap mags, dirt and dust is no problem and tough as nails. I have a Russian scope that attachs in seconds. In short, everything (IMHO) a trunk gun should be.

Of the two choices I'd pick the .40. I own a 4006 (police turn-in) and have a geat deal of respect for the weapon. Good knock down power.

I went with a 6" SS. From the second I saw it I knew it was the one. I wouldn't be surprised (blued or SS) if the same thing happens to you.

Hmmm... Well, I guess it would have to be my '82 SS 6" Python. But there sure are some close seconds (N Frames) in the group.

While I enjoy my (3) 686's they don't compare to my 6" Python. Save up and get a Python!
