Sounds like not many Baby Eagle owners out there, so I'll ask this question instead. Can the recoil of the G23 be expected of any .40 polymer compact?

I own a fullsize steel Baby Eagle in .40 and I love the thing. I'd like to get the compact polymer in .40, but there are no in-town ranges where I can hold one or rent one to shoot. I rented a Glock 23 today for a size comparison and man does it bark, compared to the fullsize B.E. I expected...

Think I'll pass on taking her. She does like firearms (we're taking a CCW course together in a few weeks) and bought herself a Taurus PT111, but she's not a fan of crowds or confined spaces. Just that right there would make the experience downright miserable for her. Thanks for the heads-up!
