    Couldn't Believe My Eyes Today

I was able to get Unique at the Grapevine, TX Bass Pro last weekend. They actually had quite a bit of powder options for a change. The Lewisville, TX Academy Sports just started stocking powder too I noticed and picked up a lb of Tite Group.

    RMR order arriving today

I have had nothing but an awesome experience with RMR. I will continue to buy from them. Glad I met a guy in Academy Sports that recommended them.

    Take a guess

Was it the bullet that hit the RO, or was it the brass? I would think the brass is what would move outside a chamber since the bullet is much heavier. I will be closing my ammo boxes as well just in case...

    .357/38 die set

Thanks, I have an RCBS Uniflow and an RCBS ChargeMaster Powder Scale and Dispenser Combo. I think that should do the trick :) I plan on using a light roll crimp with the seating die while seating. I don't think I'll use the FCD unless I load HOT .357s.

    .357/38 die set

I did look at Lee's site and you are still correct. They did not change. .38 loads both. I got the .38/.357. I don't plan on loading any .357 Maximum (actually never heard of them).

    .357/38 die set

I saw the Cowboy Style dies, but was not sure what the difference is with them? How do they differ from other standard dies?

    .357/38 die set

I was referring to cheap bullets for range practice, nothing special.

    .357/38 die set

Thanks everyone for all the great advice. I am going with the "Lee Precision .38 Special Carbide 4-Die Set (Silver)" from Amazon. It comes with the shell holder and has the factory crimp die if I want to use it. I think I can get a light roll crimp with the normal seating die, but the Factory...

Hi, I just ordered a new .357 Mag revolver and I a debating about which die set to get. I load on a RC IV single stage. I am currently looking at: 1. "Lee Precision .357 Magnum Carbide 3-Die Set (Silver)" $33.66 2. "RCBS 3-Die Carbide Set (.357 Mag/.38 Sp)" $52.99 (also $10 rebate) 3...

    Range Brass!!!

I was at my local indoor range last week, I tell the RO I reload and they often sweep most of the brass my way. I also ask other shooters if they are ok with me picking up their brass and most times they say yes. The shooter in the lane next to me was shooting 44mag from a Henry rifle. Not...

NRA Life Membership, is it worth it?

I wanted to up for life about a month ago, but that was before the discount. So instead I got a 5 year membership for about $100 I think. If I knew about the discount I might have gone for life.

    Ruger's and Smiths...

S&W 686 ssr I just bought a S&W 686 SSR 4" Pro-Series. This is supposed to be a cross between a stock 686 and a Performance Center custom. The trigger is supposed to be very smooth from the factory. I have always liked the Rugers, they have a similar "Match Champion" that is supposed to be...
