grafs took only three days to get the brass to me. 5744 with a 190 grain noe cast bullet should do the trick. i mounted a scope using swiss products side mount. had a hard time finding a old style small tube 4x, went with a swift reliant scope. .....these guns are so unique they are beautiful...

i use old style 87 sierra soft point bullets and re 15 in mine lol. shoots good. state of the art cartridge with last century components...go figure...

a few trips to the range with different ammo left me extremely dissatisfied with a wrangler. found a single six used but unfired so the trade in was a break even deal....group sizes and point of aim was immediately successful....... just saying.

while i like classic wood/steel guns i have two 6 arc guns. one is a savage axis ii and the other is a satern upper. the savage axis shoots extremely well but has as much of pride of ownership as a dead dog. it aint no win 70, rem 700 or a ruger 77. ....the satern is as nice of a ar as it gets...

my 97 has been shortened to 21, my flat ribbed 12 has a dial a duck aka polychoke and a 26 in barrel along with a new recoil pad. both are more usable for ME. fwiw...

i have been shooting some of the newer cartridges in the newer rifles of today. aka savage axis in 6 arc and ruger predator in 6.5 grendel. while i like the performance i cannot stand the construction of them. ...nicely put buy the sporterized by bobo gun. no doubt in my mind....just saying

just got a satern 6 arc upper, love the cartridge. workmanship was great, cant wait to shoot it. hope i get good results like yours (kmw)

another round of five stand with a cxs citori. on the way home a ruger amer with a magpul stock in 6.5 grendel.

lol my push feed 70 in 06 shot 180s the best! with a case full of 4350 at that. my current 308 mod 70 has the claw extractor but will shoot anything from reduced 4759 to standard loads well. fwiw....

instead of down loading my 243 rem, i decided to give a sav axis in 6mm arc a try. love the reduced recoil, slightly less noise with the accuracy of the 6mm creedmoor. small powder charges gets it done. .....but it surely aint no model 70 win in the action dept, lol....
