    GP100 and 586/686 revolvers & todays loads

You can shoot 158gr and hot 110gr hotloads in those platforms until the cows come home. Only in the s&w k frames was there an issue with the forcing cones. And that was only with a steady diet of higher velocity 110gr .357 magnum rounds.

What would an executive order to bump stocks mean

So what would this mean? Apparently Trump is for signing an executive order to ban bump stocks. I guess that means rubber bands, sticks, and fingers are banned? Does that mean he's got the authority to ban the new manufacture and sale of bump stocks?

Anyone watch 'Gun Stories' on the outdoor channel

I like it as a actual show on guns. Leaves out the drama bs (like gunsmoke and sons of guns). Kahr arms has the DE eagle episode posted on their YouTube page.

Anyone watch 'Gun Stories' on the outdoor channel

Saw an episode about the history and current production of the Desert Eagle. It was pretty good and informative. Joe Montegna hosts it. I plan on watching more. Even one of Magnum Research workers said "unless you like hitting your hand with a hammer, the Desert Eagle in .50 AE is not a fun gun...

    357 vs 44 for versatility

Sw 686, ruger sp101, gp100 are fine .357 mag revolvers and are fun to shoot.

    357 vs 44 for versatility

I'm speaking of the caliber, not the platform. A smith and Wesson revolver chambered in .357 magnum or 44 magnum CAN handle any load if kept within SAAMI specifications. I don't know what you mean by the gun not being able to handle it.

    357 vs 44 for versatility

I would say 357 magnum is pretty versitile and also fun to shoot. If you don't have a 357 mag and are a revolver fan, you should get one!

    I found a Wilson combat for $1000!

If someone posts a scam 100,000 times and suckers just one, it is still a success for the scammer.

    I found a Wilson combat for $1000!

I'm sure you guys have seen the ad because it has been listed in multiple cities. What an awesome deal. The seller types in broken English with multiple grammar errors, but he says he is a legitimate seller from Nigeria. All I have to do is send him a wire through western union. Maybe I'll mail...

    Handguns that didn't stick around

Ah the Sw smegma series. Awful trigger and a ripoff of Glock. They ended up paying royalties to Glock.

UPS Left my gun on the doorstep- no signature!

I would like to see the signature on the delivery, that'll be a hoot. Yeah I'm glad I got my rifle and it wasn't taken, wet etc.. but I feel for a firearm there should be special handling. If it gets stolen then it becomes a huge ordeal imo.

UPS Left my gun on the doorstep- no signature!

Retailers use both UPS, Fedex, and Usps to deliver stuff. While I do not want to anger the driver (wouldn't want him to try to mess with future deliveries), I feel this situation needs to be rectified. I'll come up with a political response.

UPS Left my gun on the doorstep- no signature!

Sorry, don't mean to make light of that, but I chuckle to myself when I imagine the driver just tossing your gun out the window like a newspaper.

UPS Left my gun on the doorstep- no signature!

I sent in my Remington 700P under recall. No big deal, followed instructions to a T and had it picked up by UPS. Shop fixed it in 2 days and sent it back via UPS. Email from shop and UPS states ADULT 21 YEARS OR OLDER SIGNATURE REQUIRED, which is definitely what I wanted. Got home from work and...

    Flying with firearm

Thanks for the good read on TFB. It sounds like he almost recommends a Pelican case as the checked luggage bag. I don't really want to spend $200 on a pelican case right now, but a hard shell luggage is recommended, correct?

    Flying with firearm

Maybe I can take an extra step and put the gunlock cable that came with the gun, through the magwell and the action. I.e. Have the slide locked back with the gunlock in place.

    Flying with firearm

Doing some reading, many say that TSA locks on the gun box is not correct, but TSA locks on the checked bag containing the gun is recommended. Indeed I am bringing the print out of the TSA and the airline rules.

    Flying with firearm

I am planning to fly with my gun when I go on vacation next month. Flying from Texas to Florida, so my handgun license has reciprocity there. I have read both the TSA rules and the rules of the carrier Southwest Airlines. A few questions though 1) I bought a metal handgun lock box from academy...
