I try to be as practical as possible. Trends and politics aside, my weapons are just tools for a specific purpose. Carry guns, ARs, full size pistols, bolt actions, it doesn’t matter. I have them will a particular purpose in mind for each.

Condition one is the only way to really carry. Carrying any other way is extremely amateur or a soon to be victim in the rare event you need that weapon in a fight. This is true regardless of make and model or single, striker and da/sa.

I would rely on a pencil if I absolutely had to. However in terms of cost to quality, I’m surprised cold steel isn’t on there. More then $10 but they have fairly good and inexpensive options.

The 4 is merely a math constant for the greener formula that no one uses anymore. It’s specific to the .308. The question is why would you use a formula to calculate for headwind/tailwind when your issue is a crosswind
