Thanks, Chris! That is a nice list to have. I've also heard that the Benjamin Marauder is pretty quiet in stock form, it is reasonably priced, and it's possible to add a custom laminate stock from Boyd's for not a huge outlay of cash. I'm not sure about the pumping part, however.

I don’t know a lot about CO2 so let me ask...... I’m under the impression that a partially-full CO2 cartridge should not be left in the gun due to seal damage. If that is true, it would be a $16 cartridge commitment every shooting session whether it’s 250 shots or 25. Is that right?

Where did you find threaded 1/2" galvanized pipe in the correct length? The local Lowe's only shows 30" which seems too short or 36" which seems too long.

Lucky Gunner did a review of the Kimber and kind of trashed it. It surprised me as I've always thought Kimber made great products (although I've never seen one of the K6s in person).

You are right about dry firing. I would have never believed how effective it is until I actually tried it. I still want to add airsoft or BB or whatever for some variety and the fun factor.
