Does anyone know what the difference is between Springfields Hand Checkering and Machine Checkering at their custom shop?
What about the Radical Carry Bevel?
Thanks
Hammering out the details with a gentleman on another forum about a slightly used Springfield Micro-Compact bi-tone. This makes me pretty happy as I really like Springfield's customer service. I will let you guys know if the deal goes through, and when I get the pistol. Heck, I will even post...
Yeah, I have heard that some have problems but Im not really worried about getting this one to work as I have a friend that is a very good gunsmith.
Also, I rented a Kimber Ultra Carry II this weekend and put 100 trouble free rounds through it.
Ok guys, I need some advice.
Im looking to pick-up a used Micro-Compact 1911 and customize it to what I want.
My two choices are:
1) Kimber Ultra Carry II Stainless Steel w/ Internal Extractor
2) Springfield Mil-Spec Micro Compact PX9808L
Now, with the Kimber, I would change out...
Anyone out there have a Taurus 4410 revolver? What do you think about it? After very disappointing results with my 357 and Shotshells this weekend on rattlesnakes Ive decided to look at something a little bit bigger. I think I would like the 410 option.
Let me know what you think of them.
I always carry one of my 3 kershaw knives.
To work were I have to wear dress casual I carry a Kershaw Splinter
Everywhere else I carry a Kershaw Spec Bump or a Kershaw Boa.
I have checked and it is legal to carry a handgun while bowhunting in texas if you have a conceled carry license.
Im starting to lean toward the S&W M325PD. Just looking for a good price on it.
Does anyone own or have any experience with the Taurus Titanium 45 ACP revolver? Im looking at picking one up.
How about ANY experience with taurus titanium revolers or taurus revolvers?
Thanks.
Being from Mississippi originally, I REALLY go out of my way to kill water moccasins. Had a few of those little turds come into the boat with me while fishing before. I do not like them.
After stepping on a rattlesnake last year though (no, I was not bitten) I have decided to carry a sidearm.
Yeah, I thought about a revolar. I have a ruger super redhawk 44 mag with a 9.5" bull barrel. But, I have 2 45's and a 40, so I want something to where I don't have to buy a tone of different ammo.
Im sort of worried about the 45 Auto shotshells also. But, CCI does make some FOR AUTOs. I bought a pack of them and will try them later this week. Im hoping that it will cycle with them.
I originally thought of a revolver in 357 MAG, but for some reason strayed away from it.
Im not intersted in a Ruger auto. Revolers are great (own one), but Im not a big fan of their autos.
As for Glock, not a big fan of them and would prefer the SA XD.
