Anyone out there have a Taurus 4410 revolver? What do you think about it? After very disappointing results with my 357 and Shotshells this weekend on rattlesnakes Ive decided to look at something a little bit bigger. I think I would like the 410 option.

Let me know what you think of them.

I just bought mine today. Stainless with the 2 1/2 inch barrel. Sweet. Fits nicely in an Uncle Mike's #2 hip holster. Nice trigger, and the trigger pull is lighter than I had expected. Shot 15 rounds of Remington Express #4, and 10 rounds of Winchester 000 buck. Did most of my shooting at less than ten feet. Shot patterns were acceptable to me at those distances. Gun functioned well with no problems. Recoil was mild with the Winchester 000 buck - a bit stiffer with the Remington #4. Easy to control, and not at all unpleasant to shoot. I'm quite pleased with it.

Do you feel that the pattern was good for a snake pistol at 10 feet with the 2.5 " barrel?

Here is a shot pattern at ten feet using number 7 1/2 shot. Better than using a stick on Mister Snake. I also patterned some at six feet. Much more devasting.

I forgot to mention that the target in my last message was about 18 inches square.
