Ruger SR22 threaded doesn't like suppressor

You had it previously mounted on some pretty heavy guns, compared to the SR22. Maybe the lightness of the gun lets it react more to the change in it's center of gravity.

    Scored a 696

Nice 696. Grreat photography too. I owned a no dash for a few years, but the time when the prices for them got really crazy co-incided with my truck's need for a set of tires. My 696 paid for a new set of Michelins on my Tundra.

Olympic Arms 10mm Upper Just Landed...

That's pretty cool. Me want. I don't think my Dillon could keep up with that thing. It's hard enough keeping my G20 fed.

    red dot on .44mag

I have a Burris Fastfire mounted to my .44 Ruger Redhawk. Works like a champ.

Are Lady Smith's just for Ladies?

I talked my wife into buying a 3913LS for herself, but then she found out that the trigger was too far forward for her to reach easily. She's sticking with her Kel-Tecs for the time being. So, I'm carrying it occasionally, mostly in the summertime. That slim grip makes it really easy to conceal.

What is the last gun that you bought?

An older model Glock 20 around noon today at the Harrisburg Gun Show.

    .45ACP revolver?

But, Zoogster, many people find the .45 ACP to be enough cartridge for most situations, and there IS no more positive ejection or faster re-load than the moonclip. Another plus, on the S&Ws, the cylinder typically is shortened, making for a lighter, handier N-frame than those with a full length...

    need a recommendation...looking for a skinny 9mm

MCgunner called it. The PF-9 is a bit slimmer, but won't take constant +P loads like the 3913 will. It's built like a little brick.

What pistol cartridge would you like to see tested against auto glass and gelatin?

I'm with denfoote on this one. In fact, I have some 147 gr Double Tap +P I'd donate to the cause. P.M. me for mailing details.

    Scout Scopes: Burris vs Leupold

You just can't make a wrong choice here. Both are excellent.

What 22 pistol do you like to use for target shooting?

Ruger .22s for me. I have a 4" 22/45 topped with an Optima dot sight, and a 1951 vintage 4" Standard for when I want to practice with iron sights.

    H&r 999

Dragonhunter, I'd have called that high when I wrote my previous post in this thread nearly four years ago, but from what I've seen at gunshows in the past year, it would probably sell pretty fast at that price. I've seen some recently with $300 and upward tags on them. I do like mine a...

    Most severely-recoiling firearms

The worst I've owned was a Ruger #1 in .45-70. You know, the ones that they write a whole 'nother table for in the .45-70 sections of re-loading manuals. Well yeah, I had to load them that hot.....'cause the book said I could.:scrutiny: It's a wonder I didn't shake all my teeth loose...

    Gun Cleaning

I'm pretty much the same way. I am trying to break myself of cleaning my .22 target rifle so much though. It seems to shoot better after it gets dirty. When it's squeaky clean it can take 30 or so rounds before it settles down and acts right. Everything else gets cleaned as soon as I come...

    S&W MODEL 22 THUNDER RANCH

So, nitesite, just what kinda money do you think the M22 grips are worth? I just can't use magna style grips on anything. They don't work with my hands at all. I swapped mine out to Eagle Heritage grips, and never plan on going back, so I just might sell the originals off. What have you...

    FINALLY... a Kel-tec picture thread?!!

Okay, okay.....P3AT in a K&D Defender Plus. I finally got a firsthand look a PF-9 today at the gun show. I liked the package and plan to pick one up eventually, but this one had a two digit serial number so I passed on it. Waiting for the bugs to get ironed out.

    Post your .45ACP pics

My old .45 pictures, posted 2 years ago, were hosted on a site that I no longer use. Gotta put 'em up again.
