Are these prices right? 250 for barrel, 125 for wood, 125 for parkerizing. It doesn't add up to 400 it is 500. Not bad if you can get the garand for 400 and tou like shooting the gun.

I am glad this thread was revived. I posted awhile back, but since then I have had probs with failure to load. I believe it may be the feed throat; however I have had different results depending on the brand and age of the ammo I am using.

If the walnut makes it look better it may increase resale value later. If that is something you might do in the future.
