springfield mod #83

bought it today. I was told it was used as a training rifle for the military. It is stamped springfield j. stevens arms company chicopee falls, mass usa .22 short,long or longrifle mod. 83 bolt action no serial # no other authentication marks single shot .22 90 percent blue left very little rust

any info on this rifle is appreciated thanks
