    Villistas armed to the teeth!

Longarms were probably Mauser 7mms per Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancho_Villa

    Venezuelan Kalashnikovs, anyone?

I wonder what kind of AKs, and matching ammo they'll decide to make. -74s, -47s, 5.56mm?

4" GP100s at SOG: Anybody Get One?

Southern Ohio Gun is selling Police trade-in Ruger GP100s with a 4" barrel for $230. I'm a bit interested in these, although I'd prefer a 3". Anyway, anybody get one of these? The ad doesn't expain much, but from the pic, it looks like they have fixed sights (which I'd prefer) and bobbed...

    Difference cz75 and cz85

Wow good price! Is that delivered, or do you have to ship? I'd still get the -75B, ambi junk just gets in the way and the safety could be "wiped" off on the right side.

    Difference cz75 and cz85

I would guess those are used prices, and that's an OK price if in good shape. Are these the "B" version. I'd get the "B" version, otherwise I wouldn't carry it hammer down in DA/SA mode. They carry very well. I like them a lot. Go for it. :)

    Difference cz75 and cz85

The 85 just has ambi thumb safety. I think that's it. I'd get the -75 myself. I don't like ambi junk. I have an -85 Combat which is a little different, it has the ambi thumb safety. no firing pin safety and adjustable rear sights. I use it for USPSA Production. I plan on a -75B as soon...

    Need Moon Clip Carrier Ideas

I got the new S&W Model 22. re: those stainless moonclip "Shoot the Moon" holders that Dillon sells: They look good and they're what's used in USPSA, but they don't look like they help much for concealment. I'll probably get one to test out anyway.

Bill of Sale Form: Anybody got a link to it?

I downloaded a really slick "Bill of Sale" form that somebody made up from either this gunboard or a similar one. It was tailored to the sale of firearms. I can't find it now. Can somebody provide the link?

In-State Face to Face Sale: How?

I've sold several handguns (shipped to FFLs out of state) but I've never done an in-state, face to face sale. I've got a gun for sale now and it may go in-state this time. I'm in WA. What all do I need to do/know for an in-state FTF sale? I downloaded a very comprehensive "Bill of...

    Where do you practice?

I'm in a club too. Although dues are only $30/year for the family. We also have pistol bays (pits, I think about 9 as well) where we compete USPSA. However, as far as I know, access is not open to the public for practice, I think you have to be a USPSA RO. I'm a RO at the general (bench...

    Where do you practice?

I've been shooting USPSA for a year now and I practice at a indoor range that's part of a gunshop near my home. It's very conveinient since it's close. They allow drawing from holster there (which is good), but since you shoot from partitioned "stalls", and I don't believe you're supposed to...

    Need Moon Clip Carrier Ideas

I'm looking for some way to carry full moon clips that don't break the bank. I like the idea of a pouch where they're concealed a bit so I could expose them in public without having to show bullets. I've heard that speedloader pouches will hold two loaded full moon clips. I have .45 ACP...

    S&W Mod. 22

Need an American-made revolver. See 4 criteria.

Taurus is indeed made in America. waits for flame....... You don't want one though (new Ruger and old S&Ws are better).... You didn't say "North" America did you? :neener: My wife's from "Central" America and she gets on me for this all the time. I don't listen...

Anybody watch the "Sharpe's" movie series?

I'm listening to all the "Sharpe's" books (on audio) I can get. It's interesting to learn about the Napolionic wars. Something that isn't done that much here in the US. It was a big deal to the UK obviously. Good period warfare and survival stuff, and Sharpe's dry humor is just darn...
