yep , levergun (marlin in my case) in 45 colt is fun and easy to reload and shoot. I use red dot , clays or 244 cause it's what I have. Wouldn't hesitate to use unique if i had it. I don't shoot 45 colt in the black hawk because of recoil but shoot 45 acp all day in it.

I've been in a heap of problem for less, make it count is my advice. I like the impaler.

I've gone through that procedure before - the recoil, flattened primers and stiff extraction told me they were too hot. :) The older i get the more important the recoil gets

yep, late 60's , dove hunting, 12 gauge, only way i could afford was to reload. When you hit a dove close with a 12 gauge there is nothing left to clean. Just thought i would throw that last comment in :)
