Just had to reassess 'two guns' carry after a pal got into a tussle and one of his guns was yanked (SOB carry) by one of the attackers. Apparently it would be extremely difficult to 'fight to retain' both guns in a physical tussle. It would kinda be a legal nightmare too explaining shooting...

Glock 26 ; M&P sub..PX4 subcompact is a big man's 'small gun'. shorter slide and grip but the center bulk is still the same (and its quite bulky) with the same distance to the trigger, safety, slide stop/release.. linear stats alone doesn't tell the full story on size..

just spend the time to train with the gun to get used to the trigger...

I ccw a g17 with a magwell; optional ccw is a beretta 92f compact L: they are both a pain to ccw, believe me: g17 light but bulky; beretta sleek but heavy..thinking of going for a g26; btw had a g19 but sold it as it did not fit my hands..

suggest you seek the clarification from TSA; i would defer to them especially since they are actioning the policy. let us know as the information would be good for all of us.. the last thing anyone of us want is to cause or be part of a scene at an airport..

would not recommend +P+ for personal carry.. an heightened risk for gun/gun part failure in a firefight that is not necessary.. +P is good enough..the rest is up to shot placement..

that 0.5 inch difference is significant in terms of concealed carry. my g17 is way harder to carry concealed than my g19 and many times my GF tells me the grip is showing or the muzzle is imprinting through the side of the pants..

i find that the issue is more about 'shades of thickness' and how we will carry. A Browning HP is way more comfortable for me to carry IWB all day than a Glock 17 yet still the HP is way heavier and has a longer barrel. The Glock 17 is so uncomfortable as it digs me in the side during IWB; OWB...

think about it.. if you are not supposed to point your gun at anything you are not willing to destroy or you are not clear about your target and what is behind it, why would you have a light attached to the muzzle end of a gun?? rail light encourages non-compliance to safety rules...very...

guys come on.. after NYC spent all that money to setup its law enforcement capability, it has to reap a return on equity quickly. Arming civilians is going to take away from that, as by taking out criminals you would be raining on their parade..it's better if we are victims, then the NYPD can go...

..btw not to cause an uproar here but in field tests, i have had 147s penetrating targets that the 115s did not.. the 147s however did not expand as consistently as the 115s did with a g19 and g17 as it did with the 92fs.. i attribute this to the longer 92fs barrel.

have used the sxts 147g and nary a problem. in a 92fs very little recoil.

i had the exact problem..shaved off under the triggerguard, used extended mags. etc. but the gun still bruised and hurt my fingers. Even now I have a callous on the side of my right middle finger.. it started affecting my performance with the gun so I changed to a G17 and now I am a happy...
