I bought several hundred of these back around 2012. More then I think my 243 WSSM barrel could burn through. The story back then was Federal was going to develop a load for the 243 WSSM and decided not to complete the project. The pic even states Federal head stamp made by Winchester.
I have no plan to use the powder. My asking was more for fun and seeing the responses. I'm not hurting for powder to use. I started reloading during the Clinton AR-15 shortage. Thanks for the concern. I have plenty of 243 bullets that are heavier then these 70 grain hpbt. So with how they...
I was gifted 243 WSSM ammo but the loader does not remember which powder was used. Also the loader stated these are max loads. So a couple questions. What powder for .243 WSSM at max which weighed 41 grains? Most likely the powder will be used as fertilizer. Also you can see in the following...
I'm currently using a Lyman case prep with a Hornady pocket reamer. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1012762394?pid=804809
Do these reamers wear out? Removing the crimp is rough on my fingers. Anyone know if the RCBS cone crimp remover cuts any better...
I currently load a 140 grain B-tip with IMR 4831. I'm looking to load a 150 grain b-tip but I am short on IMR 4831 and H4350.
I do have "extra" Varget, IMR 4350 and a little IMR 4451. Any thoughts on which powder I should use for the 150 grain b-tip?
I found an 8 pound jug of 3031 a few years ago during a shortage. I've been using it for .223 in my AR. 23.2 grains topped with a 53 grain HP or 55 grain SP.
