Last week I went to my local pawnbroker/jeweler/gun dealer and he had a Remington 783 heavy barrel 223. 16" threaded barrel, earth tone synthetic stock. It had to go home with me. Love it. Very accurate and didn't break the bank. ($340). Did have to buy a scope.
