What kind of paint would they use on a gun? I've heard of some antique weapons having black paint applied to them by people who didn't know much about weapon finishing.
Century Arms does suck .
But Chinese AKs are actually pretty good, about above average quality. I question the reliability of this source.
Maybe they're confusing them with Chinese mosins?
until they pull up a news article that says "Parents killed by son wielding Sword rifle! It was a assualt weapon with a bayonet lug still attached, meaning you press on the lug button and a sword comes out of your rifle"
it made me realize I need more than just SKSs LOL
Jokes aside, I did buy a few more practical modern firearms. A couple semi autos and a few rifles. When everyone else is clearing the shelves of those I think I should have one too because it's what parts will be most available when SHTF...
I've seen them on Mak-90 sporters and on AKs in more gun control restricted states. Was this a measure to make it more 'sporty' and 'less dangerous' to satisfy the politicians?
Also out of curiousity (i'm serious) where could you buy one of these? They're such a joke that I have to have one.
thank you, i appreciate it.
I have one in a pistol grip stock with adjustable shoulder. Spray painted in camo, it looks fugly but that's why I love shooting this one the most. I think i got it for <200 $
I think I prefer the SKS, it shoots a lighter round, magazine is already attached to the rifle and so is the bayonet. It's a breeze to clean
7.62X39 is easier to shoot than 7.62x51.
And SKS's are almost always cheaper than M1As.
If i could I would put a scope on my SKS
