Psycho, I'm glad to hear about the great service from Glock.
I think most warranties are one year. I've had no problems with my Glock  but I've sent other weapons back :banghead:. I think the best thing I've read about warranties is to put your $$$ on quality up-front...it's hard to...
Interesting thought....
These guys http://www.pelican.com/ have some great cases that are watertight. In my case I wanted to keep electronic gadgets safe while kayaking. Lots of different sized cases for just about anything you can carry.
I had to watch the guy in slow motion. It appears to me that he is indeed releasing one magazine and loading another. Had to share with the rest of you after watching it again!
Preparedness Checklist

Good checklist that will help most people compile some of the more common essentials.
I've grown attached to my Glock 19. However, I've been thinking of a new caliber for the upcoming winter months. Can't decide on a .45 auto or a nice 357/.38 revolver. Decided to keep shooting the various gun that my range provides and see which one I'm most comfortable with.
It's a start!
I just remember the frustration at the whole situation. It's sad that you have to spend your time 'policing' the neighborhood. On the other hand, that's better than letting the trouble makers continue their aggressive behavior, and possibly harming somebody in the process.
It just makes sense
I live in Florida. The idea behind 'stand your ground' just make sense IMHO.
I don't believe anyone should have to flee and run when threatened. I see no problem as long as you've gone through the stages, accessed the situation, and deemed it necessary to stand and...
Thanks for the clarifications carlrodd.
Those 'seemingly non-violent' acts appear to be compounding and becoming more serious. Have you spoken with your neighbors? Thought about forming a watch program? Do you have a camcorder that you could setup to record their actions? Just trying to...
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. The person(s) resposible should be held liable for their actions. I'm sure that you feel violated and would like to enact revenge on the perp(s).
However, I would offer that you call the police and report the situation to them. Maybe they could...
Glock 19
Current favorite is a slightly modified Glock 19. Trijicon sights. Extended mag release. Hogue grip sleeve. Spare magazine on opposite hip. 30 rounds of Corbon +P JHPs. It's disappears when carried in an IWB under a t-shirt.
I'll have a Springfield Full Size Loaded 1911 please!
And if there's any leftover throw in a few boxes of .45 ammo. Check them out at http://www.springfield-armory.com/prod-pstl-1911-fs.shtml
Just over 4 weeks
I live in North Central Florida and got my license about 6 months ago. I got my prints scanned electronically to cut down the return time. Got my license in the mail in just over 4 weeks. Good luck!
Not a good predicament
My Dad owns a floor cleaning company. He works mostly nights. A few years back he had just finished a job at a convenience store. The store clerk had already left. Dad had just finished hosing off and loading up the equipment into his van. Before getting back on the...
As a child I remember my grandmother telling me about how these BGs were following her one day. She told me how she drove straight to the police station. Once the BGs realized what she was doing they immediately stopped their pursuit.
It's important for people to keep their wits about...
+1
Being armed doesn't mean you shouldn't use common sense and avoid possibly dangerous environments. I've read some posts on this forum where guys what to know if they were justified. I usually reply with this simple question, "Would you have been in the situation if you were unarmed?"
I enjoy exchanging info and ideas with other members here on THR. I started out at PDO, but after multiple connection problems, I decided to look around and see what else was available. My hat's off to the folks that run this website.
