i agree with xavierbreath. i love my 18 in shotgun i got for what your looking to pay for the .22. nothing feels better in my hands than that. I got a .357 security six ruger for 200 after some shoping and dealing but got a steal of a gun for cheap. You wanna learn? Get a good used gun with...
talk the dealer down, tell him its an old gun and youll pay 250 for it. then buy it and try not to smile all the way to the dirt pit and shoot the sh#t out of it. Hit the target six out of six times with the sights aligned for your eye after a few hundred rounds then smile all the way home...
i got one at walmart for 30 bucks that shoots 2 at once or just one. It fits onto a tire rim or can be staked into the dirt. it has a draw string i can fire by tying it to a stake then pressing down on it with my toes. works killer.
just bought one last week. paid 200 for it with some holster wear but i didnt get it for looks;) shot 300 .357's out of it the other day and love it. Easy to use/clean/carry/love.
sounds resonable, should i go with the metal or the rubber/plastic ones and where are they sold at a good price? No local dealers to me sell them and i've checked a couple sites online. Seems about $20 is the standard for 6 .357 or 2 12 ga.
a snap caps thread was posted here like a month ago before i had a revolver. now i got one and can't help but pull it out and dry fire it when im bored. i remember reading something here about snap caps and have checked them out but i think i remember some guy saying something about using soda...
just got a ruger sec six .357 and am thinking about moonclips cause a buddy says they're great. He's kind of a pinhead so i need second opinions. Also i checked out a website and the clips said "cylender requires machining to accept full moonclips". Well, he's a pinhead but i dont know jack...
found a reasonbly priced security six at a local shop (.357) for 2 bills. need a gun for HD but will be my first practice gun so i'll shoot the crap out of it. Looking for some pros/cons cause i dont really want to spend any more $ then this right now and everything else is @ $400.
i just realized im stuck in maine for 26 years now and there isnt a range close to me or an instructor to teach me that i can find.:barf: I cant even rent a handgun to try out to find what kind i like.:barf: Is there a site to find people who teach classes or something like that? I have a...
thanks guys. sounds like a little of both opinions. ill have to check into the make, sounds like i would want the mark III or V right? Moneys money and this is the first colt ive seen around locally so i might get this for now cause every shop in town has a smith. probably get one of those...
looking at buying a used revolver soon. Had been looking at either a used model 19 or maybe a new gp100 for blasting out .357 mostly at the range, but also for sd. came across a near new colt trooper .357 4" for $400 at a local shop. I've always heard colts the best but never fired one...
still on the fence
i guess i hear the 686 is the heaftier of the two, and since i plan on shooting the bejeezus out of it i may go after the 686 but the 19 is easier to get my hands on so i dont know. maybe ill get both anyway.:D now im torn because i found an AK-47 for the same price.:evil...
mostly for fun
i need a .357 mostly for fun. I want to shoot the hell out of some targets at the range and want to be used to firing full .357 load for when I HAVE TO:evil: (god forbid...and god help them) This will be my first handgun and the second line of defence behind the shotgun and...
probably buying a model 19 (.357) 4" smithy used for $375 at a local gun dealer which is cheaper for my area and less hassle than buying online for the price. (i think) Is this a good first handgun for the money or should i go brand new Ruger GP100 for around $500? its mostly going to be a...
i'm buying my first .357 and have decided to either go S+W or Ruger. I'm looking for something bigger than a snub nose and wonder if anyone has a good place to shop for one. I've found a couple places online but all around $450, which is reasonable i think but i'm looking to go around $300...
