More Trouble For DFW Gun Range

Having had two myself over the last six years I feel very bad for those folks! The insurance company says that 1/30,000 people have that intent walking into a range... I'm glad those numbers are much higher here. Support that range more than ever-or they are sure to go away.

    775m shot in Iraq

It's sad the war has cost us 180+ billion dollars so far. It's also sad that I had to send my son Jim Jr. a scope/mount & rings for his M1A because the 101st Abn had no more. But hell -We go our moneys worth today at least! My kid took a target out at 775 meters :D Shameless plugs go...

Wait a minute here Maybe you should read your original post again! It wasn't about far left field stuff like the 1k SKS or Desert Anchor stuff....it was about clerks not knowing about product the way I read it :banghead: No matter where I shop-I do my own homework before going. I don't...

Why do gun shops close on Sunday?

Sundays Hell, I'm open 7 days a week,I'm glad the others are not :>) When I bought my second range in Belmont,NH-the previous owner was closed on Sunday -It's currently the second best day financially-with Saturdays always rocking. Some states still do have "blue laws " on the books. In...

    Next cartridge to become obsolete?

The .45 Gap Problem and... A new cartridge only takes off if gun companies start pumping out guns to shoot them. What was Glock thinking? If I wanted a .45 short-I think I'd buy a .40 :D The other fantastic round to go away is the .38 Super :banghead: I have a Colt 1911 .38 super that...

Do you guys ever do this?

And you do this because?? I personally meet many like you,but don't understand why you feel that you need to "out wit" people like us. I have thousands of guns, but don't claim to know everything-and learn something new every day. I'm sure I could ask you many questions that you would not have...

When guns and schools were pals

Guns in school part II When I was 16 years old-I asked to take my Savage 340/30-30 to school because I had planned to go hunting after. I was told everything was fine as long as I didn't have it loaded, and kept the ammunition separate. I had the bus drop me off that day aprox 3 miles from...

    My apologies

It's easy to pig pile on him And a lot harder to forgive him. When I called BS on this-he didn't hesitate for a moment to come clean. I've met too many people in my life that never came clean when caught, and he did. No Police Department/Company or person is perfect-but you should see my...
