Mine has the rolled engraving on the side as well. Neat little gun. It being a full-choked 12ga. it should make a dandy squirrel/rabbit or dove gun.. I prefer my 1100 for doves, but this will a neat lil' shooter I think.

Does anyone have any history on these guns? I was given one today that my late uncle left behind when he passed away last year. It was given to me by his neice as a keepsake. I'm not interested in value, but the history. When they were made, when they stopped making them, etc...

I'll soon be looking into getting one of these and have been researching the forums. Seems the Mark II is the way to go... And that the Mark I doesn't have a slide stop after the last round has been fired. A few have offered to "avoid the Mark III's" and one guy said it's a "Lawyers gun"...

I'm restoring a Springfield Mod. 187 .22lr that my uncle gave me. It's tubular fed, but missing the rod that holds them into the tube. I can't think of what to call it, but it's the thing you slide down into it, and twist it in... It's also missing the ramp for the rear sight. Anyone know of...

I bought my blued 4" King Cobra just a while back for $350 = $25 FFL tranfer. I LOVE IT! It's the smoothest shooting, easiest handling handgun I've shot... You won't go wrong with getting yours for $399... You'll never lose money on it, and the way I understand it, the blued ones are...

Look, TWINS! :D Nice lookin' pistol! The only wear this one shows is some blueing wear from being in and out of a holster.. All the front edges -- end of the barrell, end of the cylinder, all front corners have the blueing worn off, but it just adds character to it, IMO. :) I can't...

As promised, here it is... I'm well pleased with how it handles... I'm going to the range tomorrow to see how it shoots. If it shots as good as it feels, I'll be tickled!

I've never done this myself, but I've seen people paint the blades to colors that best suit them. If you can't find a replacement blade, maybe you could try that.
