    Stevens 311 help please!

Okie, reading about your 8 (!) 311's on various threads was a prime motivation to check them out in the first place. I'm glad I did! Thanks again, -G

    Stevens 311 help please!

Okie, thanks for the congratulations- I am really surprised to hear you say 1950s- my friend and I agree this piece looks like it could have been made in the 80's, it is that well preserved. Went out and shot it over the weekend- picked out the clays as well as my red label or my friend's...

    Stevens 311 help please!

I just picked up a very clean example of a Stevens H series 311. Does anyone know the production years for this gun? Mine has a D serial number prefix. In addition, this is my first 311 (after searching for almost a YEAR for a good one!)- after I remove the forearm screw, do I just pull...

    Pump action rifles?

I don't know much about rifles, but I love my Rem 870 SG. Any reason the reliability and durability of thisaction couldn't be reproduced as a rifle? I don't know if it is feasible with rifle ammunition, but perhaps with .44 or .357 hangun caliber ammo?

What Should I feed my Beretta Bobcat ?

My bobcat likes almost anything except the cheap federal stuff. Remington bulk pack works, though. Highest velocity stuff out there is the CCI stingers as well as the new CCI Velocitors- these have gold dot hollow points in them, as an added bonus.

If you want a bullet that is supposed to expand like a hollowpoint but has the lines of a FMJ look at Cor-bon's new Pow'r'ball.

    Fabarms Classic Lion?

Does anyone have any experience with the Fabarms Classic Lion SXS series? What's the catch? They seem to have great features, but seem reasonably priced. If you own, have shot, or even held one I'd appreciate your opinion.

    Shooting a really cold pistol.

This thread made me remember this: http://www.streetpro.com/usp/torture.html Not to say that all guns will respond as well.

*GACK* I just broke my USP!

This is my experience: http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=9312 What I've learned: Everything breaks. (you knew that) HK customer service is not as bad as people say. Like most interactions in life, you don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate. BTW, my...
