Buy a well-worn/carry piece, and you won't pay a lot. Most have hardly been shot, and you can buy a better quality piece.

They[Sphinx/Kriss] are lowering the retail prices of the new models. I shot the compact, and it's VERY nice.

I have the compact in lay-away, plus a sub-compact and Kryptonight coming in the first batch shipped to my FFL's from Kriss.:)

Older HK pistols are works of art and engineering. My favorite pistol to shoot, is the P9 series. I never warmed-up to the P7's.......though great pistols.

I usually pratice at about 10yards, rapid/aimed fire, and shoot about 4-6 inches for a whole mag[10-16 rounds]

I've had about 50 carry-guns, but as of now.... Wilson ADP or HK USPc40.

I've been fortunate enough to have purchased nearly all my "unicorn" firearms. I've also sold most of them, as the hunt is the most fun.:D

I won't pay over retail for anything new, but I'm very loyal to my LGS/FFL. Been going there 20+ years, and treated very well. I always try to support local business, then state, then USA.
