    Buy a well-worn/carry piece, and you won't pay a lot. Most have hardly been shot, and you can buy a better quality piece.

    The new Sphinx SDP series, is their first "production" gun. Swiss stuff is amazing in quality. They build stuff sometimes, just because they can.[show-off] Anything that was Swiss-SIG, is nicer than the German counterpart/copy. Same with the newer American rifles/pistols.

    They[Sphinx/Kriss] are lowering the retail prices of the new models. I shot the compact, and it's VERY nice.

    Why was the HK P7 discontinued?

    Older HK pistols are works of art and engineering. My favorite pistol to shoot, is the P9 series. I never warmed-up to the P7's.......though great pistols.

    I usually pratice at about 10yards, rapid/aimed fire, and shoot about 4-6 inches for a whole mag[10-16 rounds]

    I won't pay over retail for anything new, but I'm very loyal to my LGS/FFL. Been going there 20+ years, and treated very well. I always try to support local business, then state, then USA.

    She has no interest in my locked-up firearms, and has her own carry-gun. That's all she says she needs.

    I'm constantly rotating my collection, and keeping what interests I've settled into. I can't own them all at once.....so I will, one at a time.:D
