I have a Winchester62a and want to clean up the stocks. They're not bad by any means, it's just a clean rifle and I want to nice up the wood.
Thanks in advance.
Colt police positive in .32np (.32s&w) I removed the old barrel off quite easily with heat halfway up the 4" barrel. Threads, crane, all good. Can someone explain the primitive way of installing new barrel. I have arkansas stones, files micrometer, no lathe. Anyone please
I need a barrel to put on my frame. It's a colt new police .32. Barrel lenghth does not matter. The forcing cone mics out at .443. I'm having a helluva time finding a barrel for this oldie. Serial # is 405xx made in 1907-1908 Any ifo helps. Thanks
Dave
Has anyone heard of "vibrating" the powder throw so you can get more accurate, same measure throws? If so, what's your method. I use an RCBS and would like to hear any opinions. Thanks.
Anyone a DW nut? I hear talk about the (strongest) .44mag and in my opinion it's not all about that. If I want to pound something harder than a .44 then I use a rifle. A Smith&Wesson has a great trigger. A Ruger is another tank, a Colt is a Colt. They all have an attribute, but what about...
What do you think. Nickle, .38special Airweight, pinned barrel, no-dash number, flatlatch, made in 1956,:D all I need is some diamond center grips and it would "look" original.
I have an old S&W model 38 in nickle, It has very nice nickle with no flaking although there is some dirt-discoloration by the rubber grips that were on it. Is there any way to safely clean the nickle? Thanks
I have a revolver with a bad re-nickle job. I'd like to dura coat it a black matte (bake on) since i'll keep this one forever. Any ideas how to remove the nickle would be greatly appreciated.
What's your best accuracy load with the hornady 125gr. jhp, xtp bullet? I have an older colt that I want to shoot high velocity but not pound on the gun. I'm thinking of the xtp. Any thoughts?
I found some reloads that are 125gr. jhp, REMOVED gr. of #9, oal 1.566. Seems very hot. Any advice/info is greatly appreciated. If shot it would be out of a 4" colt pre-python. Thanks
EDIT: Powder weight given is well in excess of published maximum.Johnny Guest
I bought one of these and need to know where I can get an ejector spring. This is the pre-python model that only says "Model .357" on the barrel. Only made from 1954-1961. Any help is appreciated.
