    Mini 14 ???

I've owned two & sold them both. A fun gun @ the range ? yes. A gun I'd hunt w. ? no. I,ve never had a jamb and found them to be 100% reliable. Accuracy leaves a lot to be desired and in view of the price of the gun, to me it's just not worth it. Good Hunting.............

    Finally Bedded It

I have a post 64 Win 70 Carbine in 30-06. Nice cut checkered walnut, floorplate ect. I put a new Nikon Buckmasters scope on it w/ Simmons bases & rings. Each time i'd bring it to tha range it would hit 3 -4 inches left or right of where I dialed it in for on the previous visit.........Finally, I...

    Bad Marlin accurracy

I hear that when the barrel heats up a bit that the magazine tube puts stress on it causing shots to string. They say that by just slightly tightening the barrel band rather than tightening it too much should cure it. I also hear that it's a fairly common complaint. Happy Hunting..............

    .22 rifles

I saw this video tape about 15 years ago when departments where considering moving away from the .38 spl. Too bad we all went from the frying pan to the fire by getting the hi cap 9mm. Thought being more firepower. Now it seems that everyone carries the .40S&W, I feel very good about that...

    .22 rifles

I saw video of a bad guy getting shot in the head from about 6"-8" w/ .38 spl. Once in the forehead and once in the top of the head as he charged the Police Off, and continue to fight. Happy Hunting.........

    .22 rifles

The gun is what made us free men, protects life and liberty, Brother ! There is no doubt as to weather or not a .22 will kill a person. This is a forum, right ? AND I PERSONALLY LOVE THE .22, ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL AND SHOOTING IS A WONDERFUL HOBBY THAT I ENJOY VERY MUCH. Lets talk about...

    .22 rifles

The "caste doctrine" as you call it already exhists in MA whereby in the event of a home invasion the occupant is not expected to flee his home. If you shoot this person, he'd better be armed and in your home and not in the yard, he'd better be shot in the front and not in the back. I believe...

    .22 rifles

Defensively speaking, you shoot to STOP and not to kill. If you shoot to kill and do so, then you are a murderer and will be treated as such by the court system. A .22lr WILL NOT "STOP" AN ATTACKER, BUT WILL MOST LIKELY CAUSE HIS DEATH EVENTUALLY. USE IT BY DESIGN IN A DEFENSIVE MODE AND SEE...

    .22 rifles

A bad guy runs at you with a knife in hand bent on killing you. You pull out your trusty "Hammerli" . 22 if you have time, and shoot him. Problem solved ? Unless you (STOP) him, he's going to keep coming and guess what happens next ? Knife vs Gun: Reliability: Knife = 100%. Gun = ? Accuracy...
