smith 617 sure wish the 617 had the optional magnum cylinder but it sounds like it would have to be barreled for the magnum and come with an optional LR cylinder. Still that would be nice.

Scopes on a lever action I couldn't agree more that the scope would look ridiculous. I would only use one for a hunt or maybe to see what the gun could do.
