I don't really see that any party except Republicans and Democrats is ever going to play a major role on a state or national level. The way your votes are counted leaves no other option. Of course this is just a foreigner's perspective... ;)
It's basically the same with Labour and...
My dad (who is not a bad shot by any means) carried and shot one while he served as an officer in the Germany army.
He hated the P-1 and always joked about how it was "16 warning shots and about three lethal throws"... ;)
Quite right. You have to realize that Germany has more than 80,000,000 inhabitants crammed into an area the size of New Mexico.
That's the funniest thing I heard about this topic so far... :D :p
... I finally shot my first IPSC match :)
Of course I sucked badly. Had lots of fun though and met a whole bunch of cool folks.
I had to realize again that there's a whole big difference between training and match... adrenaline and spectators really add something :) I screwed up three to...
Best value I ever spent? Dunno but I'll buy a used P7 PSP in good shape for 75 (seventy-five) Euros next month :)
My department is adopting the P200 as its new duty gun and is selling its old P7's to its officers for the above mentioned price.
I stand corrected... just looked up the Surefire web site once more and noticed that I misread the product description. Apparently you can switch between momentary on and constant on by twisting the tail cap. However, the lockout thing is not featured by the G2.

Oh well, I already ordered... if it doesn't fit I'll just have to sell it to some lucky American P 2000 owner :)
But I guess the slide and the upper part of the frame are the same in both versions so it'll probably work.

Hmm... didn't know that. OTOH your idea about getting the less expensive model and buying a P61 bulb makes sense. I was going to get the P61 anyway because I intend to use the Surefire for those occasions when I really need to blind someone or go into a dark place without knowing what's waiting...
Hi guys,
a friend of mine (a rookie in our department) is going the the US for two weeks to visit his brother in Detroit. He intends to use the opportunity for some serious shopping because most US brands are considerably more expensive over here. (And yes, he got a looooong shopping list...
Hi folks,
I carry a Peli M6 LED as a general-use light on my duty belt. Right now I'm seriously thinking about getting a Surefire for those situations when I really need LOTS of light.
I narrowed down my choice to the 6P and the G2 Nitrolon. I noticed that since they are both based on the...
BladeTech makes holsters for the P 2000. I already ordered an IWB with pull-the-dot loops.
For an inexpensive OWB check Höppner & Schumann in Germany at www.hoeppner-schumann.de
They make a kydex OWB that sells for 22,- €. Just ask if they ship to the US.
Regards,
Trooper
Nope, not really... actually you're fighting several ideologies who again fight among themselves, too. Just think about the ongoing violent conflict between Sunnis and Shi'ites in Iraq. Throw in various tribal loyalties, different political party affiliations and Arab, Persian and Kurdish...
The operator can adjust the pressure and duration. There are guidelines for what amount of power you can use at what distance.
German police have been using them for decades without any legal or medical problems. Sure, being blown off your feet by a water cannon isn't exactly fun (especially...
