nope. sorry to break it to ya man. most of the full sized had the removable top. i forget exactly what year they stopped that though. im thinkin 90. but i know for sure 94-96s dont come off. not without a sawzall at least.
Checked it this morning... it does appear that it comes off from...
Hehe- took me over 30 minutes to figure out how to field strip my 1911. The manual was pretty sparse in explanation. Indeed a little alien when my only experience have been Glocks, XDs, and Steyr.:D
I would jump on it for sure. Though i would do the same if I saw a S&W 29 as well.
The chances are very slim I will come across one here in CA. I am mostly reduced to stumbling upon one at a shop on consignment:fire:
Hehe... JesseL I have some of my favorite rounds on my desk at work as well.:D Have one of each in FMJ: .38 spl, .357 Mag, .44 Mag, .30 Carbine, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. I did have a 12 gauge Foster slug, but it has since disappeared.
Roughly ten years ago I was at a party when some guys tried to steal the keg of beer. Obviously shtf quick. One of the keg pirates pulled a handgun out. Shortly thereafter the patron or friend thereof walked out with a hunting shotgun and shot the guy with the pistol. Birdshot was used- a friend...
I would suggest an inexpensive handgun or shotgun in the trunk with mags/speed loaders/shells in glove box or similar compartment.
OK. I had a conversation a few months ago with a sheriff deputy, who was off duty at a party, and posed a question about the legality of me having my 12 ga. in my...
Yeah that was kinda' my point Tank Mechanic... from all the various articles, statistics, etc. I have come across, it was surprising to see these firearms described. I am probably stereotyping here, but I would expect to see these in the hands of more "professional" types (again maybe I get this...
A friend of mine just emailed me this artical. Its in .pdf format. Never thought I'd read about a 'banger using a Redhawk .44
Interesting to see the array of firearms used. Also it rings kinda' close to home- I have family in that area of Stockton that is mentioned.
Direct Link...
hehe, XavierBreath...
I already paid for it about a 45 days ago. It has been a circus trying to get this in my hands. It was a consignment sale- was on display for only a few hours from what I was told. Anyhow- the gun itself had to go through a 30-day background check, then a 10-day check on...
Hey, thanks all for the clarity :D
.... hopefully done the road I'll try and pick up an Anaconda too if one is to be found here in tricky CA. Would it be safe to assume a good condition Anaconda can handle the same high mileage of a Redhawk .44?
I am asking a question for the "toughness" of a 6" Colt King Cobra.
I am picking one up at the the end of the month and was curious to know how much of a pounding it can take with steady use of .357 ammo. I have read earlier of the thread to stick with the 158gr ammo that mentioned mostly...
