After a trip to the range today I was taking down my 870 and the left shell latch essentially fell out, which worries me somewhat. The gun was a police trade in, Miami PD I think, so I don't know it's history. Is their a chance this is symptomatic of a larger issue? Should I drop $45 on...

So I found a few of these down on the pistol range, so probably handgun. I found them downrange so presumable they flew down. Although they have a rim and a hit primer so I don't know. The brass in the picture is 9mm Any guesses what they are?

Does anyone know of a source for the stocks? Seems like it could be a good replacement

I don't know about a bunch but I've put a few hundred through my GP-100 and its worked well. I didn't chronograph it but it seemed to be of reasonable power, I thought it burned fairly clean, accuracy was nominal.

Lots of places make inserts. Ruger has replacements. http://www.lettgrips.com seems to have a good variety, haven't tried them myself so your milage might vary.

While I like the factory grips on my GP100. I really wanted to try wood so after searching around for a while I decided on Eagle Grips. But I couldn't find any pictures of a GP100 with with them so I'm posting pictures for anyone else that wanders through looking at them. I haven't shot them yet...

I'm looking to give IPSC a try, never done a pistol game before. I've just done rifle things up to now. Looking to see if anyone has any suggestion, from what I've read of the rules all I need to add is personal protective equipment and a large box of ammunition.

I'd like to get a tritium sight for my revolver (GP100, adj sights), but I'm only really interested in getting a front sight. Can anyone recommend a place that sells just the fronts? I've checked the regular places Midway and Brownells, but they just have the sets, at least that I've found.

Yesterday I got my first revolver (used), stainless GP100 with adjustable sights and 4" barrel, used the Used Revolver Guide and it was quite helpfull, gauges at .004 and locks up tight. I got it home and tried to clean it up good, I'm fairly sure the last owner never took it all the way down...

I got the mid sized baby eagle, standard grip and shortened barrel, and I love it. Very reliable and fun to shoot. It actually takes CZ magazines so you can save a bit on the factory magnum research and just get CZ factory instead

I find it to be very durrable on my rifles, good density/feel. I'd like to try it on a shotgun.

Does anyone know of a company that offers laminated stocks for Remington 870? I know their are the current factory stocks but I'm looking for a diffrent patterns. I've found plenty of places that offer replacement wood but not laminated.
