    M&P 357sig FTE

Hi Guys, Been a long time since I've been active here. I bought an unfired S&W M&P in 357sig last year. Finally got it to the range today. I was using Cor Bon 125gr JHP. First round fired and wouldn't cycle. Couldn't pull the slide back so I dropped the mag and still couldn't get the slide...

    P90 dings

This is my P90. Bought it used from a local pawnshop that was going out of business last year. I really like the gun no malfunctions and is accurate. However, I don't like these dings where it has been dropped at sometime in its life. Is there anything I can do to repair it to get it looking...

Looking for info on this Enfield

Bought my first Enfield yesterday. Just wondering if anyone can tell me any info from the markings. Not sure if it was manufactured in 1943 or 1942. Also, why is there a different number on the chamber and the back above the Enfield stamp? Thanks in advance

Bought this 5906 today. Can anyone tell me the date of manufacture? Serial is TDF45xx Also anything I should know about this model, it has your basic iron rear sight but I though most of the novak rears. This is my first S&W 9mm. Been wanting one of these for years now.

This is my new Beretta 1935 in 32 auto. Payed $300 for it. The slide is stamped P. Beretta-Cal_765 Brevettata Gardone V. G 1944. The serial is 5419xx. It has a 4 UT stamp on the frame by the right hand side grip. Can anyone tell me some history on this gun?

    Cleaning lead gunked guns properly

Someone correct me if im wrong but doesn't lead have to be 1400-1600 degrees for it to start vaporizing and emitting "fumes" where you would be inhaling toxins? The highest temp lead will get while smelting is 700-750 degrees,

    Most regretted gun purchase?

Taurus PT-908. Would stovepipe every 3rd of 4th round. First handgun I bought when I turned 21 and it almost turned me away from semi-automatics for life. Years later, I found out that was a common problem for that particular model and gave autos another try which I found a couple that im very...

    Cleaning lead gunked guns properly

Last time I smelted, I lived alone and did it on the stove with a small cast iron plumbers pot. All the dross went out with the kitchen trash. As others have said, the "dangers" of lead is a bunch of liberal, EPA feel good garbage. Don't swallow the lead, wash your hands before you eat and you...

    Gritty feeling on Super Blackhawk

I bought a used Super Blackhawk in 44 Mag recently, 2014 date according to the serial. Gun has been fired maybe a couple times, if that. Chambers and barrel looks new. My question is, when opening the loading gate and closing, when turning the cylinder to lock it in place, it feels gritty...

    S&W 66-1 Christmas

I miss my 66. I swear if I could find it (Has S.C.W & M. RD stamped on the side) I would trade both my Ruger Match Champion and no dash 686 that bought ( but im not 100% happy with either one) to get it back.

    H&R 732

From 15' it is very accurate. I haven't had a chance to go to the range and go longer with it

    H&R 732

I will try to take a better picture tonight but the cylinder and the hammer are definitely chrome, maybe nickel. Both have a bright and smooth silver finish to them

    H&R 732

This is my H&R 732 in 32 Long. According to the serial (AR) it was made in 1977. The cylinder and hammer looks to be either chrome or nickel plated. Did it come from the factory this way?

Updated 2016 Lee modern reloading manual

I noticed the thread on the new Hornady manual so I figured I would let those who don't know but Lee has released an updated version to their Modern reloading manual. Actually recived mine yesterday, bought from an Ebay seller. I was disappointed in the lack of cast bullet data for the 32...

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

This was my bench. Im saying was because I got out of the hobby 6 years ago due to financial reasons but now everything is going great i'm hoping to build another like it this coming year. I used 4x4 treated post for the legs, 2x8's for the sides and 3/4" plywood for the top. Shelves were 1x6's...

Problem with my Dillon ELIMINATOR scales

Sounds like the same problem I had with mine years ago. Contact them and they will fix it for free, you just pay shipping. I wish I could find the email they sent to me explaining the problem, it was a real technical explanation but I don't believe it had to do with anything being dirty

Recommended a good balance beam scale

Recommended a good balance beam scale

Getting back into the hobby, time to buy a new scale. My first one was a Dillon Eliminator, remembering having a problem with it sticking and not reading correctly. Factory fixed it but I'm not interested in having another. Lee is outa the question completely and im reading that the RCBS...
