    Sig Mosquito

After talking with Sig, changing to the white spring and only CCI mini Mags. No more problems. Buy a couple 1000 and shoot. It's not that pricey compared to 9mm. Wish it weren't so but it is.

    Best rifle/carbine for non-military non-LEO California citizen

M1A NM and socom 16 I had same thoughts last year. I picked up an M1A national match after a 6 month wait. Next I got the M1A socom 16. Both are great rifles. I like the irons on the socom 16 as long as you are not getting too far out.

    Safes

I was looking at several by Browning and others and ended up buying from Sun Welding in Simi Valley California. They build them, no middle man and sell direct to you. You can get a good safe from them starting around 600 and go up to some beautiful big ones for 2200+. You can get the budget...

    What makes M1A/M14 so expensive?

I picked up SA National Match, and a Socom 16. Great fit and finish. The National Match was very hard to find with a 6 month wait in So Cal. They are in pretty good demand here and don't sit around very long. The Socom 16 is easier to find. May need to get a scout for this year.

this is a quote from Fred Thompson on gun free zones "Whenever I've seen one of those 'Gun-free Zone' signs," Thompson mused at National Review Online, "I've always wondered exactly who these signs are directed at. Obviously, they don't mean much to the sort of man who murdered 32 people just...

NPR program to examine CCW at colleges

Folks: Do call in but keep your point clear and short. For the most part it is a very (including my wife) highly educated crowd that has a liberal anti gun leaning at least in Cali.). Many have never been expossed to fire arms and just think they are evil. I can safely say many in KPFK...
