I've been carrying concealed for about a year. Thought I would try open carry because Idaho is awesome in that respect and I'm a lot more confident now with my handgun thanks to training and a lot of time on the range.

but frankly, i prolly won't be wearing it too much around here. folks label you. also, it's not wise in this valley (meth heads everywhere) to advertise you have a gun(s) on your person/in...
i've owned this pistol for about 5 mos., shot maybe 3,000 rds., and twice in the last couple outings (the latest being about 4 hours ago) and the thumb safety has come part-way out when pulling it out of my holster.
is this a matter of sending it back to S&W? i'll call them tomorrow morning...
